Float & Tape Level Gauges, also known as “float & board” or “float & dial” are used on large tanks or collection basins. Inside the vessel, a float is connected to an indicating element via a steel rope. The indicating element can be a graduated scale with a pointer or a dial with an index.
In the case of the dial, it can be mounted at the top connection level or redirected with pulleys on the side of the tank.
The float can slide between two guide ropes or on a rigid rod.
