MAGNETIC LEVEL GAUGE

« Go back

Magnetic Level Gauges consist of a bypass chamber with a float containing a magnet. This magnet transmits the liquid level to an external housing. Inside the housing, red and white flags rotate 180° with the float’s movement, red indicates liquid presence, white indicates absence.

They are suitable for interface service and are very safe, as the liquid remains confined inside the steel chamber. Outside of the chamber they can have level switches or a 4-20 mA transmitter.
